Pension plan may be elucidated by citing the Government Notification No. AR 29/88/43 dated 08/06/1989 issued by Govt. of Assam wherein certain guidelines have been issued for handing over of Pension Payment Order to the retired teaching & non-teaching staffs of provincialised schools and provincialized employees of Panchayat & RD Dept following a time schedule. The time schedule is that the employee of the above category shall apply for pension six (6) months prior to superannuation through their HoO.
